This is the "Work in Progress" piece. I am using brighter colors and covering each ceramic piece with paper... This makes the overall effect lighter, and the glaze that shows through makes a nice line. Porcelain and cut paper, 2007. Size ?

The paper cut-outs are the bomb! you really moved the stencil into a different mode. you would like the shadow puppets i saw in beijing, made of rice paper. also the paper cut-outs from Xian (near the terra-cotta warriors actually.) your work is really nice! I have been a fan for years and years you know.
