blue and white

A few of the cups that I made in Jingdezhen with transfer images from our fireplace project combined with blue and white painting. I am not sure what it is about cobalt painting, but it sucks me in every single time. It seems just fast enough to keep the lines loose  - but in a perfect and detailed way.

Currently working in Jingdezhen for the next couple of weeks with the finest porcelain in the world. I thought I would bring a "giant" lithophane, inspired by the cut paper work I was doing this summer. This is test #1 - and I already want to go bigger.
